We’re so excited to bring you a 2020 filled with the best new Vegan Larder recipes, more reviews of the hottest vegan products and make plant based, seasonal cooking the yummiest and most exciting it has ever been.
We started The Vegan Larder because we’re mad for cooking, photography and educating. We love trying new vegan products, supporting small businesses, and making plant based eating exciting, fun and easy; that’s what we want to carry on doing.
In fact, we’re so excited to keep working on recipe creation, we’ve decided to stop selling boxes and focus on the bits we really love!
For the past 18 months we sold boxes to our subscribers and one-off purchasers packed full of goodies from small businesses. It puts a massive smile on our face knowing we got the best food to our customers, helped lots of small businesses market their products, got listed as The Best Vegan Subscription Box by The Independent in 2019, and totally sold out all our Christmas boxes -So we’re going out with a bang!
So why are we stopping the boxes?
While the boxes fulfilled the goal of we wanted to achieve (get yummy vegan food to people and help them with cooking), it stopped us actually doing what we loved. We want more time to create the best recipes for our followers (you might even see some videos from us), to be able to review products on our blog (especially from small businesses) and do more talks on the practicalities of plant based diets – shout if your workplace or event could do with one of these fun workshops!
We also need to say some thank yous
First of all our customers. You have supported our business and been the reason we carried on. It has been a pleasure to see so many people wanting ethical, palm oil free, vegan products. Working with our suppliers has been a dream; we feel so lucky to have tasted (and sent out to customers) the most incredible plant based products from businesses that really care. We will still work with these businesses and let you know when they launch amazing new products.
We’ll still be bringing you our emails & recipes, but we hope to make these even better and more tailored to making plant based easy and exciting. We’re so excited for 2020; let’s make this most vegan year yet!
