Easy and Christmassy!

Chestnut Mushrooms Dried Shitake Mushrooms Puy Lentils Garlic Thyme Rosemary Brandy or wine Vegan Butter

Ingredients

Soak the dried mushrooms in hot water for 10 minutes

Step 1

Chop the fresh mushrooms & garlic

Step 2

Sautee the mushrooms & garlic.  Add wine/brandy and herbs here too.

Step 3

Add the soaked and now plumped up dried mushrooms. 

Step 4

Blend the mushroooms and cooked lentils until smooth. 

Step 5

Blend the mushroooms and cooked lentils until smooooooth. 

Step 6

Spoon the pate into pretty jars or pots.

Step 7

Top with a thin layer of melted butter and let it set. 

Step 8

Serve with lots of crackers or crusty bread. Perfect for a snack board!
