inSpiral Salted Caramel coconut pecks
A sweet caramel snack that has little kicks of salt that really bring out snacker in us! The Inspiral coconut peckas mimics traditional jerky, using young coconut, and with it’s subtle chewy/crunchy texture is totally moreish.
Nibble protein bites – Sour Cherry with a hint of Orange
These snacks are low GI, low sugar, high protein and have an even higher yum-factor! Perfect as part of breakfast bowl with fruit and non-dairy yogurt, or use as a snack on the go. Chop them up for a delicious addition to a smoothie bowl!
Lockhart Martin cocoa, orange and assam tea infusion
A gorgeously rich yet refreshing drink made from cocoa bean husk. We love how this totally nails our hot chocolate cravings.
This company makes gorgeous raw chocolate bars which are a brilliant way to get your chocolate fix. Made from fairtrade and organic cocoa beans, you can only feel good eating this silky flavourful chocolate! We love the different flavours that are available. In fact, we loved them so much we couldn’t choose which to send you, instead, you get a lucky dip. Tell us what you got and if you liked it?!
Innate Beetroot Squares
We love a salty, crunchy snack, but as much as we love crisps, they just aren’t the greatest thing to eat. These delicious bites not only look pretty, but are nutritionally balanced, tast amazing and will give you an energy boost! We particularly love the resealable pack, so you can try to stop at just one square (if you have better willpower than we do!)
Miso from Miso Tasty
We’re obsessed with Miso at The Vegan Larder, and this is our favourite brand! We use it in everything, from risottos where it adds a yummy umami depth that is usually achieved with parmesan cheese, to dips and stir fries! We consider Miso to be one of our staple storecupboard ingredients and hope you love cooking with it as much as we do!
Try it in these recipes:
Zim’s Tribe African cooking sauce
This flavourful sauce, cooked with love, will jazz up any dish, from lentils, beans, salads, stews or marinades. Rich and deep flavours from Africa which you won’t forget in a hurry.
We love this so much, especially mixed in with lentils for a deliciously spicy pasta topping (see recipe below!) We can’t wait to try it as a marinade for tofu too!
Clearspring Ume Shiso seasoning
Bright & zesty with a beautiful colour, this Japanese condiment will bring flavour and life to any salad, stir-fry, dip or tofu marinade.
Our new favourite way to use this delicious condiment is as a substitute for lemon in a Tabbouleh salad!
Find the recipe here: Tangy Tabbouleh Salad
A delicious & unusual spicy topping for spaghetti or other pasta. Perfect for jazzing up your mid-week supper!
- 1 jar Zim's Tribe Medium Marinade
- 500 grams cooked lentils either tinned or some you have pre-cooked yourself.
- 400 g spaghetti
- A sprinkle of green herbs to serve
Put the spaghetti into boiling water & cook as per the instructions.
Meanwhile, in a pan, gently heat the lentils with the sauce.
Serve the pasta with the lentils piled over. Add some fresh herbs to serve.
This would be amazing with some green peas or kale chopped through too!
