Thinking about what you'll serve up for your Vegan Christmas Dinner? Gone are the days of just eating the veggies, or if you're lucky, a dry, small nut roast! We know exactly how to do Christmas here at The Vegan Larder, and so do our fellow bloggers. We've rounded up 28 Vegan Christmas Dinners to BLOW your mind. From pies, vegan meats (we're not kidding!), stuffed wreaths, meatloaf, fancy pasta and Wellingtons, it will be a Christmas your friends and family won't forget.
We have amazing news! We've brought out our very own Festive Feasts recipe book full of the most incredible vegan Christmas recipes. Available as an e-book or in paperback. We'd love you to have our Festive Feasts on your kitchen shelf!
🥧Pies
Christmas is for indulgence, and for me, that includes pastry and a hearty, warming pie with ALL the Christmas flavours. Pies make for the most beautiful vegan Christmas dinner centrepiece. My favourite is the Wreath Pie below. You'll need all the best Christmas flavours such as cranberries and chestnuts. It also includes pesto, which you can make, or buy fantastic vegan pesto from Mr Organic.

🍞Lentil & Meatloaf
So, you may say this is the more obvious vegan Christmas dinner centrepiece. Yes, that's true, but these are fantastic, flavourful, tried and tested recipes that are incredible. They also freeze well (why not make double and have one for a roast dinner another time?). They're full of protein, have a great texture and hold together well. Don't forget to have a good quality loaf tin. If you love high protein food, then you'll love our Vegan Christmas Tempeh 'Sausage' Stuffing Balls to accompany them.

🍄Wellington
Pastry, pastry, pastry! I love it. Most puff pastry that you buy ready-made is actually vegan. Yay!! So no need to faff around making it - but always check the label. A fabulous Wellington makes for an ultimate vegan Christmas dinner, that even the meat-eaters will love. Not to brag, ok I am gonna brag(!) we have the BEST Vegan Gravy & Roast Potatoes to go with it.

🍖Vegan Meat
Now we're talking! You can make something that's similar to your traditional roast dinner, and that tastes AMAZING. These vegan meats are made from seitan (don't be afraid!). It basically wheat gluten (in the form of flour) that you flavour with dry and wet ingredients, then knead, then cook - well, put simply anyway. If you love making vegan meats from natural ingredients, then you'll love my Vegan Smokey Seitan and Black Bean Sausages.

🌿Whole Cauliflower
For a lighter, but equally delicious option for a vegan Christmas dinner, try a whole baked cauliflower. It's all about the flavours you give it, and these bloggers do not fall short there! They look spectacular and cut into elegant slices nicely.

🍝Pasta
Yes, this counts for a vegan Christmas dinner if you make fancy pasta. Not everyone is a fan of the big roast. We love things like a big lasagne or ravioli. Make it gluten-free if you want; such as using Dove's gluten-free organic lasagne sheets. If you're going to be making any kind of cheezy sauce, don't forget the nutritional yeast (which is actually fortified with B12).

🌽Stuffed Squash
Squash is an essential part of a vegan Christmas dinner, even if it's just a side dish, like our amazing Harissa Roasted Squash, Sweet Potato & Onions. These stuffed squashed look bright and colourful, and there's loads of great choice for stuffing. If you want a fantastic ready-made stuffing, we love Steenbergs Organic Stuffing - they have lots of great flavours, but for Christmas, we recommend their Cranberry and Apple Stuffing Mix.
